Day 51

My best friend died when I was 14. Later, when I was cleaning out my old emails I found a poem she sent to me:
Of all the friends I've ever met
You're the one I won't forget
And if I die before you do
I'll go to heaven and wait for you
I'll give the angels back their wings
And risk the loss of everything
Just to prove my friendships true
I'm so thankful to have a friend like you

This summer I got the tattoo I've been wanting for years. Right begin my heart.
Ashley - you're the one I won't forget. Ever. I didn't include dates because there are many people that I will never forget, and this reminds me to make memories with those special people in my life.
