Day 333

I just love my dogs. They have so much personality. Protective dog is a talker, and lovey dog never ever used to bark or make any sort of noise (except whining sometimes). Lately lovey dog has been grumbling and playfully growling; it's so cute. I think it's funny how if you hang around someone long enough you start rubbing off on the other person.

Day 332

We had a nice family dinner and cake for tall sister's eighteenth birthday. This included watching tv, numerous jokes, and putting littlest sister in an arm bar. I love my family; they are the best ever!

Day 331

I went on twitter and tagged an amazing YouTube team, The Brothers Reidell, and they actually responded to our thanksgiving hillbilly handfishing video! Pretty stoked. My sisters and I have loved watching their YouTube videos for awhile now.

Day 325-330 Thanksgiving Edition

Woah I have a lot of catching up to do. Thanksgiving was amazing, as always. I love this time of year so much!

Here's a link to this year's annual Thanksgiving video:
Hillbilly Handfishing: Crocodile Hunter Edition

Silly protective dog was hiding behind the curtains like she's seen the cats do.

I made the mistake of putting an old dog bed in the kennel....

Day 324

These mint M&Ms are quite seriously the only reason I'm ok with Christmas stuff in the stores before thanksgiving.

Day 323

Husband and I got handed a free turkey at Safeway over the weekend. It doesn't fit in the biggest pot I own. It has turkey love handles spilling over the sides.

Day 320-322

This weekend was packed full. Friday I was busy with basketball. Saturday husband, sister, and I participated in an all day 5v5 volleyball tournament then watched the new Twilight movie afterwards with mom. It was actually a pretty great movie, not gunna lie. Sunday was church, grocery shopping, going to a friend's house for the opening of her online store All-things.net, and playing piano and saxophone. I can play "Still, Still, Still" on both instruments, although the saxophone is a bit trickier than the piano. What a great weekend! I can't wait for thanksgiving!

Day 319

It's fall which means that basketball season and cold weather is upon us. The fog lately has been very pretty though, as long as I can see the road...

Day 318 - Power Tools

Husband and I bought this big kennel for the dogs a few weeks ago so that we could leave them for a few hours and not feel bad about them being cooped up in the tiny kennels. Well. My dogs are just a headache.
#1 The latch is too flimsy to keep my 70+ pound dogs in.
#2 Zip ties don't help because the dogs chew them into tiny bits.
#3 A chain wrapped around the bars to keep the door shut held up until the dogs busted a hole in the chain link and escaped.

*Deep breath* - I don't think I need to elaborate much more on how upset their shenanigans make me. #3 happened when I got home from basketball practice. I may have thrown a fit. I may have made a mess finding all of husband's tools (that are never in the same place). I may have used an electric saw all by myself with no supervision for the first time. I may have pitched another fit when not one but two power drills died on me and I couldn't find a new battery for either of them. I may have used a screw driver and hammer to chisel four holes into the plywood.

Husband got home and fixed my makeshift door in less than 10 minutes. I managed to keep my cool, until he told me that "unless you know how to use the power tools, don't."

I feel like I may need to prove/redeem myself.

Until then here are the pics of my handiwork next to husband's. In my defense husband used the same piece of plywood because I at least cut it to the right size and managed not to slice any of my limbs off.

Day 317 - Bug

Every once in awhile a bug gets into the house, and the cats go to work. They keep my house bug free even though it takes them way to long to stalk and slowly kill the bug. Here panther kitty even went as far as wearing a lampshade like a drunk, cute.

Day 316 - Coincidence?

These two truck drivers both got stuck at the same place within a few hours of each other. Mom and I got stuck going each way when visiting our beautiful friend who just moved back to Oregon after being gone for six years (didn't seem that long). It was sure good to see her again!

Day 313-315 - Weekend Edition

My beautiful cousin, her boyfriend, and my ornery uncle came down for the weekend. We had a ton of fun, as always.

Day 312

Mom and I got our hair done today. Afterwards she stopped by my house and my animals were so happy to see her. They hadn't seen her in two months and wanted all of her attention. I get it, how can anyone not just love my mommy?

Day 311

Today was husband's birthday; he turned 25 years old. After work we went out and had an amazing family dinner then went over to my parent's for cake and presents. It was a great day!

Day 309

I woke up from my nap and tiger kitty was snuggling with my shins. She usually only cuddles with the dogs. I hope I'm making progress with her.

Day 308

Day 307

Day 306

Protective dog loves her whipped cream. I put some in this cup and she made the funniest face.
Tiger kitty sat on my lap for about ten minutes.
I also got to spend a lovely evening with these beautiful ladies.
