I really wanted to make some tiramisu so I pulled up a few recipes on the internet. Did some research. Even found a Ladyfinger cookie recipe just in case I couldn't find any at the store. Then I realized that I'm turning into my dad. I usually catch myself unconsciously doing stuff then immediately thinking, I'm turning into my parents. I love them.
Anyways, here are the links to the recipes I used. The tiramisu recipe was incredibly easy and instant. I liked this one because it didn't use raw or partially cooked eggs like most of the other recipes. Also, you can never go wrong with Gordon Ramsay.
A little side note for the ladyfingers recipe, if you don't have a pastry bag (who does?) like me then you can just use a gallon ziplock baggie and cut the corner off. Works wonderfully.

Day 179
Today I got to join the girls at basketball camp. They are a fun and talented group of girls. Afterwards, at dinner, I found this cute little guy. We played angry birds and drew pictures on my iPhone.

My picture(s) today are a couple of old pics I found. We were a handful of trouble makers that's for sure.

Easy Homemade Chicken Cordon Bleu
Ingredients:
Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
Deli Ham (1/2 pound for every four breasts)
Swiss Cheese (2 slices for each breast)
3-4 Eggs
Panco/Bread Crumbs
Flour (not pictured)
Seasonings: Salt, Pepper, whatever else you like.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Be careful not to cut or pound too many holes in your chicken.
Step Six: Prepare your assembly line. Chicken, flour, eggs, and bread crumbs.
Step Eight: Drench your floured chicken in eggs
Step Nine: Coat your chicken in the seasoned bread crumbs.
Step Eleven: Once the chicken is done cooking, take the toothpicks out of the chicken.
Step Twelve: Enjoy!
I apologize for not having the recipe for the sauce that typically goes on top of the chicken. I've always just enjoyed the Cordon Bleu by itself.
Day 174
Sisters and I started taking pictures upside down. I can't really explain how it started... It just happened.

Day 172
Today we had a celebratory fathers day dinner. Mom and dad were busy Sunday so we had to postpone fathers day. It was nice having a big family dinner. I just love my family so much.
Also, I ran 5 miles then chased my misery from running down with a nap out in the sun. It was glorious.
Happy first day of summer!

Day 171
For awhile now I have been second guessing how protective dog 2 is and wondering if she would actually alert me if there's something going on. Well yesterday, while I was working, dog 2 started growling. This was a serious growl, not her normal playful growl. When I looked outside neighbor was up on a ladder doing housework. Dog 2 did not approve and would not stop growling. Until she got bored.

Day 170
Sister #1 is home from college for the summer. So sister #2, mom, and I all went to krav/kickboxing class then rewarded ourselves with FroYo. It's an almost weekly ritual. I love these beautiful ladies.

Day 169
Fathers Day!
I'm sure I've used this picture as a fathers day tribute in my blog before, but it's one of my favorites.
I'm so blessed and grateful to have such a hard working, amazing dad. I love all of our political, ethical, and philosophical talks. He makes me smarter and is always there for me. My dad is the best. Love you daddy!

Day 168
Saturday: We got to watch sister play more basketball for the senior all star game. She played great. I'm so proud of my sisters.
After the game we stopped for lunch at a BBQ place, husband had to do a few repairs on a barn, then we headed home from Sisters Or.
We had such a fun family weekend and I can't wait to plan another. I'm thinking a day hiking trip...

Day 166
Today panther kitty wouldn't leave me alone. I am blessed to be able to work from home and my furry critters love it.
I had a dream that Thor, the god of thunder, got mad at a girl and was going to hurt her (she was just misunderstood) so I resorted to violence like most of my dreams and put Thor in a sleeper hold and choked him out.
I could do anything that day. So I ran another five miles.
Also, dog 1 loves to sleep on the bed and dog 2 recently discovered that she too can jump up there. She is very deceptive. She will be walking by like nothing then all of a sudden she'll be awkwardly on the bed. Husband told her she's to big to sleep on the bed (I told her she's too warm). Dog 1 continues to curl up into a tiny ball on his small corner of the bed. Dog 2 continues to sprawl out but her glory is always short lived.

Day 165
My day started out with dog 1 jacking both his and dog 2's bones. Dog 2 didn't care because she knew he'd have to drop it sometime.
I ran 5 miles Monday, ran 5 miles Tuesday, and went to two hours of krav and kickboxing on Wednesday.
And took a delightful nap with my cat before my workout Wednesday.
And came home to husband cooking me a huge dinner.
Wednesday was a great day :)

Day 164
Dog 1 love his bones and tolerates me so well.
Also, I ran 5 miles on Monday and 5 miles on Tuesday. I can't figure out why Tuesday's run felt so.much.longer.

Day 163
I took this picture from inside a dirty van window on our way home from a summer league basketball game. I love looking at the sky and clouds.

Day 162
Husband and I went out for a couple hours yesterday. I found a pair of sunglasses that I didn't hate. I also found a shaver with an extendable arm so anyone can shave those unreachable places unassisted... 0.0

Day 160
Spent some time with my family at their house with a room full of great people. My mother is quite the story teller ;)

Day 159
My sister had an interview today and got ready at my house. It was like old times... Us getting ready in the bathroom and tripping over each other and laughing and getting way too distracted talking. The best part is that we don't fight nearly as much as we used to. Maturing does that to a person.

Day 158
I made a mustache for dog 1 out of athletic tape. Have you ever tried cutting designs out of athletic tape? Well it's really hard to do. So don't make fun of how awful the mustache looks. Dog 1 was smiling when I first put it on, but as soon as I grabbed the camera (which was sitting on my lap ready for this picture) he stopped cooperating.
Also, this hard apple cider tastes like delicious granny smith apple juice. And I found a store that sells it! Here's hoping it's not seasonal.
