Day 95

Dog 1 LOVES walks. He gets so excited when I put my walking shoes on that he bounces around because he just can't contain himself. The leash that I have it like a loop so it'll tighten when dog tugs. Dog 1 can't wait for me to find the loop he stands on his hind legs and tries to bury his nose into the right loop. He knows not to jump on me so he just stands there "helping" me find the right loop. At the beginning of the walk he's not the best but by the time he gets his excitement out he heels like a champ. My guess is that he thinks the walk will last longer if he's behaved, and I let him think that. If it's rainy out when we walk then I towel him off before I let him inside. He loves when I rub him down and throw the towel over him almost as much as he loves the walk. He's such a ham bone.
Dog 2 doesn't really like walks. She get nervous and tries to hide behind me whenever she sees anything that moves. We are working on that.
