Husband put down some cement in a hole that guard dog keeps digging. When asked if the cement was still wet, husband still didn't expect anything when I suddenly disappeared for a few minutes. He acted appropriated surprised the next morning. Sometimes I feel like I'm a child.

Panther kitty is turning into a snuggly lap cat. She does still bite sometimes, but if you freeze she will start licking instead if biting. Progress.

Day 265

I took guard dog on a walk/run to the local coffee shop in town to meet up with my friend. Friend and I had a lovely time; she's just the sweetest thing. I was also proud of guard dog. I told her to lay down next to me and she only moved when the sun came out and got too warm for her preferences. She behaved wonderfully and didn't react when other dogs or people were around; she just laid there like a good girl. I'm glad I took her, lovey dog would have ignored me and tried to make friends with everyone. Way to make me look like a pro dog trainer guard dog, especially when I told people that you just turned a year old in August.

Tiger kitty is the least cuddly kitty I know. She runs away when you go to pick her up, then when you do catch her she acts like you're going to torture her. She only cuddles with her doggies. But yesterday she willingly jumped onto my lap then let me pet her. I had to take picture proof otherwise husband wouldn't believe me.

Tall sister and I usually only get one good smiling pic, but that's after we take a handful of goofy ones.

Day 261

My neighbor's dog barks and whines for most of the day and night. Sometimes we will get times where it's quiet, but other times, like yesterday when it is in the fenced off side yard and it's mad about not being able to run around the entire back yard. It barks. All. Day. Long. Starting before 4:30am. My dogs are quiet and I make sure of that.

I hung up sisters painting next to mine on the wall. I thought the sun and moon belonged together. She's just so talented!

Day 260

As I was leaving my house yesterday I heard a noise at my backyard gate. Upon further investigation it turned out to be guard dog just doing her job. She doesn't look so protective in this pic though; she looks more like one of those poor abused puppies on the animal shelter commercials. She is fat and happy I swear.

Day 258

I grew up loving Korean food. Somehow we always ended up having a Korean neighbor that would supply us with seaweed and kimchee, but when my family moved to Oregon our lucky streak ended. Until my dad stumbled upon this amazing little restaurant in Woodburn. I seriously teared up while eating this food because I was so happy.

Day 257

Sisters brought ice-cream over and we painted and laughed until blonde sister had to leave for college. Even though she's just a couple hours away it's still sad.

Day 256

My dog is so weird. I don't know why they lay like this. I'm still trying to figure out how to make them do this on command...

I am proud of myself for not eating this entire bar of chocolate.

This last picture is of a note that one of the girls from my volleyball team gave to me. Those girls are just so sweet.

Day 255

I don't normally condone pictures of spiders. They give me the heeby geebies. I took this picture as proof of the giant spider that startled me every time I went outside. I kept expecting it to be gone, but the giant thing didn't budge... Until my dad came to pick me up for Krav Maga class and squashed it for me risking life and limb. If you couldn't tell, I'm deathly afraid of spiders (and heights).

This bowl of Reeses pieces was gone before 10am. I try not to eat anything like that until after noon... Try. And obviously fail.

Day 254

Lovey dog turned 2 in July. He's always been lanky and skinny, but lately he's been chunking up a bit. He especially looks chubbier when he sticks his neck out and pouts. I'm so glad he looks healthy now and not like I starve him.

Day 253

I left the back door cracked to let in a nice breeze and the cats loved it. They aren't outside kitties, and unless the door is open for a long period of time they won't even venture outside. Lovey dog was upset that he had to stay out; he prefers to sleep inside all day.

Panther kitty was being cute and cuddly last night which is not normal for her. I think she got way too wound up with the idea of being an outside cat then realized how nice she has it inside where it's warm and safe. At least that's what I kept telling her.

Day 250 - 252

Friday = my birthday. My jr high volleyball group gave me this awesome card. I especially love the ps in the bottom right hand corner.

Saturday = quick day trip to the beach to see a car show. Husband and I met up with my cousin and her boyfriend. Neither husband or I have ever been to a car show before and it was quite fun. Besides the weather being a warm 80-90 degrees at home, the beach was a windy low 70s. I'm just glad I brought a sweater.

Sunday = husband and I went over to my parents house for birthday brownies with my dad and sisters. I just love my family. They make me so happy and feel so loved.

Besides littlest sister dislocating her knee on Saturday, I would say this weekend was awesome! As littlest sisters coach and sister I am hoping and praying for a quick recovery.

Day 249

Lovey dog knows he's not allowed on the couch, but every once in awhile (ok ok, it happens more than I'd like to admit) he will get over zealous about some love he's getting and somehow slow motion seal dives onto the couch. For some reason he thinks that unless he's on top of you or smothering you in some way when he's snuggling then it doesn't count.

Day 248

Spent the day with tall sister painting and soaking up sunshine! I just love her.

Day 247

There is this decorative, wood-looking, stuff on my desk to make it look like it's made of real wood. A portion of that has been coming off and I thought about asking husband to fix it for me. Instead of acting helpless I decided that I can get some super glue and fix it myself like a big girl. Here is the casualty list from my little lapse in judgement: glue on my chin, glue on my iPhone, left pointer finger and left middle finger glued firmly together, missing skin on my right thumb where I had to rip the glue applicator violently off, etc. Next time I'm going to know better and instead of doing it myself like an independent grown up I will admit defeat early on and ask for help.

Oh, the decorative wood thing on my desk I was attempting to glue back on? It's only half glued on and still could use a bit more glue. Fail.

Day 246

Husband deep cleaned my car after our camping trip. He couldn't stand the dog hair in the back. Now I have a nice sparkly clean car. Thanks husband!

Day 244 and 245

Husband, puppy dogs, and I left for camping Saturday morning. I took a picture of the mongrels in the back o my roomy VW hatch then didn't take another picture the rest of the weekend. There was lots of swimming, volleyball, sunshine, and good people. I failed completely on day 245 to take a picture, but take my word for it, it was a fun weekend!
