Day 242

This was the only picture I took today. I sent it as a text to tall sister teasingly threatening her that I was holding blonde sister as hostage, that she had 10 minutes to get to my house, and ending the text with an ominous "or else". We are always silly and it's way too easy to take horrible pictures of myself and send them to my sisters. If I ever make them mad they have a grip of ugly pictures to blackmail me with.

As I was curled up on the couch husband walked by, leaned down, and gave me a kiss. Panther kitty saw an opportunity and hopped up onto his back. I think we make quite the totem pole.

This is my newest painting. I don't like it so much, but then again, I don't like any of my paintings very much. How come the picture in my head is so difficult to create?

Today's weather was glorious! Mid to high 70s, light breeze, and sunshine! I love taking naps on my back porch in the sun. Vitamin D makes me happy.

If a burglar was dumb enough to break into my house I don't know who would be more intimidating, panther cat or protective dog. Panther cat is a lot more vicious than you'd expect.

Panther kitty was being extra cuddly today. Also, husband and I saw a tricked out chevy aveo. No one should ever EVER waste their money on an aveo. Now you can't say I didn't warn you.

Day 231

Dad made mom a potty for when they go hunting. He used antlers for the toilet paper rack and even has a ledge for a coffee cup. He's so creative!

Also, lovey dog was pouting when I pushed him away. He wouldn't even look at me. This face makes me laugh so hard every time; I just can't take him seriously.

I needed to go to the DMV to get my license renewed before volleyball season started so with record breaking heat I couldn't leave the dogs outside or the cats in the garage. They'd bake. So I moved the dog kennels inside, put a little divider in for the cats, threw some bones in the dog's sides, and cranked up the ac. The cats weren't too thrilled, but in my defense they didn't want to stay out of the kennels until they were locked in and the choice was taken away from them. Typical cats.

My neighbors (who are some of the best neighbors ever) have these amazing rose bushes and gave me a beautiful bloom. So pretty :)

Day 228

Husband surprised me with a new desk the other day. Dog 2, protective dog, used to have a much bigger space to nap. Now she is all squished up and doesn't fit as well as dog 1, lovable dog. I think lovable dog has usurped her favorite spot.

This puppy has so much attitude. So stinking cute!

Day 226

Yesterday was a long workout day; first two hours of weightlifting, an hour of krav, then an hour of kickboxing. Sister and I squatted 205 pounds and were pretty proud of ourselves until our kickboxing instructor made us do a million squats and legs stuff. It's like he knows.

Also, Everyone loves tiger kitty.

Day 224 and 225

Saturday was family reunion day. Sunday husband, friend, sister, and I went to see the movie Bourne Legacy. Great movie. Husband was a little disappointed that there wasn't as much action or shoot-em-up-bang-bang as he was expecting, but he agreed that it was a good movie. I got to spend most of the weekend with my beautiful sister :) she's the best.

Day 223

Blonde sister made me cookies. So I've been eating them non stop for the past day and a half. YUM!

My dog is so weird. And foxes are my favorite animal ever. Cutest picture!

This is a picture of friend's and my hotel room. Please notice the creepy mirror that runs along the length of the wall right above the beds. It looks like one of those one-way mirrors in a horror movie. Regardless, I slept like a rock.

I got to go to a coaches clinic at the beach with my friend and co-coach. We have such a great time together.

My dog doesn't know what to do without me home. Husband doesn't know what to do without me home. He gave the dog whipped cream... He never does that... He must miss me.

Day 218

I have this problem if I ever have to get up in the middle of the night to go pee. It's called dogs. They're like this moving obstacle course for a person to trip on, and I don't forsee this problem getting any better any time soon.

Day 217

Today was, in my book, the first day of summer for Oregon. It was 99-100 degrees. I took a shower and went outside to let my hair dry; it took no time at all. Husband and I had a great dinner at a friends house then went to the Ross Coleman Invitational rodeo. Yesterday was a really good day, besides the miserable heat at times.

Day 216

Sister and I piled in the back seat of husband's car while he drove places. Sister and I learned that the flash on my camera is really, REALLY, bright.

Day 215

Today was a beautiful sunny day in Oregon. Sister and I ate a ton of blueberries and enjoyed the day.

Today panther kitty would not stop cuddling. She has some days where she will ignore me and others where she just won't leave me alone. And yes, her cuddly face looks just as violent as her I'm-about-to-attack-you face. She's a gamble to snuggle with, but well worth it.
