Day 212

Husband and I have been taking the dogs to a field in the evening time to throw the ball for them and let them run. They love being able to race and chase each other.

Husband and I went to see the new Batman movie. It was really good and really long. Husband loves it when movies are more than two hours.

Mom and I were watering the elk... Which lead to spraying them with the hose. Some liked it and stood in the stream of water while others ran away (they came back for more though).

It has been beautiful the past couple of days. Summer is finally here in Oregon and we have consecutive 80 degree days. There's no better way to enjoy the sun than with a jug of iced coffee. YUM!

Puppies are getting so big and chubby! I just love to snuggle with these little butter balls.

Cousin and I had a nice, relaxing morning filled with girl talk and painting while recovering from our rafting adventures. I'll post pics of my finished product once I am done with it.

Husband, two sisters, cousin, cousin's boyfriend, and I all rode down to the grandparents house for our annual rafting trip. We look forward to it every year and I already can't wait for next year!

Dog 1 loves to lay under things. Ever since I set up my paint station in the living room he's been a happy boy.

We had this fantastic thunderstorm last night. Husband and I sat on the front porch, eating ice-cream, and enjoyed the beauty. Sister took this amazing picture of lightning. I love thunderstorms, it reminds me of Texas and being a little kid.

Nothing much happened today. I got my butt kicked at BFS and completely melted into the couch afterwards. Panther kitty was feeling extra snuggly yesterday so I managed to roll off the couch just long enough to take a quick picture.

I'm trying to teach my dog how to play dead on command. She does this stupid thing anyway so now my challenge is to get her to do it when I tell her to. I'm failing miserably.

Does anyone have any suggestions how to teach a dog to play dead?

I just saw this picture and let me say, I am way more excited about my ice cream than my sisters are.

Panther cat has been doing this annoying little thing when I won't let her sit on my lap. What she does is jump up onto the little space behind me, leans on my butt, and slowly pushes me off the chair. The worst part is I don't even realize it's happening until I'm falling off the chair. Then she just sits there, curled up in her little ball, purring at me.

Shopping day with my mom and sisters! This pic was taken at the end of the day when we were tired. Sister #2 found a comfy chair so sister #1 and I took a pic while creeping in the background. I just love my family!

Sister and I spent some time outside soaking up the sun today. Summer has finally arrived!

These cute little birdies were flitting around the back yard yesterday. They kept throwing the dog food onto the porch then chasing the bits of food around.

Today was my first day back to krav and kickboxing in three weeks. Boy could I tell I hadn't done it in awhile. I've been running almost every day but that's nothing compared to krav and kickboxing.

The picture of the little girl is in church, my sister let the little cutie play with her phone. She's the smartest little thing; she immediately put the phone to her ear and said "hello!".

Last night the sunset and clouds were spectacular. Husband and I chased the sunset to get the last pic. Happy finally summer in Oregon!
